Occupational Therapy
The Occupational Therapy Assistant program prepares graduates to function as members of the health care team. The Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant uses purposeful activity with individuals who are limited in daily living skills due to physical, psychosocial, developmental, or learning disabilities; deterioration due to the aging process; or as a result of cultural or environmental deprivation. Students receive the knowledge and skills necessary for entry-level practice as Occupational Therapy Assistants.
