Technology Education Curriculum Guides

North Dakota has been a charter member of the Center to Advance the Teaching of Technology and Science (CATTS) consortium since 1998. North Dakota has adopted the model course guides as the state curricular framework. In addition, to support the model course guides published by the CATTS consortium, the STL standards have also been adopted as the state standards for technology education.

To obtain the most recent version of the Curriculum Guides please click on the following link and follow the instructions below: http://www.iteaconnect.org/EbD/CATTS/cattsconsortium.htm

Steps to access the curriculum guides:

  1. Scroll down to the North Dakota access link underneath the State Supervisor photo and click.
  2. The next page will ask you to agree to the copyright terms of the curriculum. Enter your e-mail address at the bottom and click "I agree."
  3. You will then enter the userID and password for access to the North Dakota EbD page (provided to you by a separate e-mail from the state supervisor). Be sure to place a checkmark in the "Remember my password" box.
  4. Once you have gained access to the North Dakota page, select your desired curriculum and enter the userID and password for EbD model course guides access (provided to you by a separate e-mail from the state supervisor). Again, place a checkmark in the "Remember my password" box.
  5. You will now have access to download the curriculum guides for any of the courses that you need. You will not need to enter the passwords again, as long as you do not close your web browser.

Note: If you check the "Remember my password" box when logging in, it should remember you and you will simply have to enter your e-mail address and click enter to gain access to the guides in the future.

If you have trouble accessing the page, downloading the content or have any other questions, please contact Bonnie by e-mail at bschucha@nd.gov or by phone at (701) 328-3121.
