Message from the Executive Director
The North Dakota Department of Human Services works in partnership with the federal government, tribal governments, counties, and hundreds of organizations throughout our state to provide quality, effective, and efficient human services, which improve the lives of people.
This department touches about one in every five North Dakotans through direct services or public assistance. Our programs and services are intended to help meet basic needs and to assist individuals in achieving self-sufficiency.
