Home inspectors are trained professionals hired to inspect a home and its surrounding property, usually as part of a home sale. They then provide a report to the person or entity requesting the inspection. The report explains any issues that were found and recommendations about how the issues should be fixed.

Home inspectors who want to work in North Dakota must be at least 18 years of age and must register with the Office of the Secretary of State according to NDCC ch. 43-54.
