SNAP is authorized by Public Law 95-113, the Food and Nutrition Act of 2008, and its various amendments. It is administered by Human Service Zones under the authority of Section 50-01-09 of the North Dakota Century Code, and supervised by the North Dakota Department of Human Services under North Dakota Century Code Section 50-06-05.1.
