CQL Levels of accreditation:

  1. Systems Level Accreditation

    1. This level of accreditation requires payment by the QSP agency.

  1. Quality Assurance Level Accreditation

    1. This level of accreditation is eligible for assistance with funding for the first accreditation visits one and two.

    2. Once the agency has submitted the request for engagement (RFE) to CQL, the agency must obtain accreditation and become enrolled in the residential habilitation and community support services programs within one year or may be required to reimburse the department.

  1. Person-Centered Excellence with Distinction

Once Systems level or Quality Assurance level of accreditation is achieved along with requirements per community supports (see policy chapter 525-05-30-21), and residential habilitation (see policy chapter 525-05-30-50), the agency may begin to provide residential habilitation & community supports services. The QSP agency is required to maintain CQL accreditation while enrolled in these services.

The agency can be denied additional funding if application for QSP has been denied as described in NDAC 75-03-23-08. The QSP Agency may be denied additional funding if a sanction or termination of services has been issued as described in NDAC 75-03-23-08.1, or there have been substantiated complaints against the agency that involve quality of care.
  5. The QSP Agency must have designated staff who will provide these services that completed the Brain Injury modules, Minot State Medication modules and Dementia training modules.
