The North Dakota Department of Commerce is thrilled to announce the reopening of the Legacy Investment for Technology (LIFT) application process. This funding opportunity aims to fuel innovation and drive economic growth in our state by supporting promising North Dakota businesses as they commercialize their intellectual property.
"The LIFT program offers a unique opportunity for North Dakota entrepreneurs to access the capital and resources they need to succeed,” says CommerceEconomic Development & Finance Deputy Director Shayden Akason. “We're excited to see the innovative projects that will be brought to life through this program."
Applications for the LIFT program is due on October 18, 2024. Successful applicants will have access to up to $1,044,000 in loan funding to help advance their projects.
Eligible industries include advanced computing and data management, agriculture technology, autonomous and unmanned vehicles, energy, healthcare, value-added agriculture, value-added energy, and any area identified by the LIFT committee as contributing to the state's economic diversification.
