North Dakota Chief Information Officer Shawn Riley today announced Evonne Amundson as the Information Technology agency’s Chief Customer Success Officer (CCSO), a position directly aligned with elevating NDIT’s focus on driving value for customers through a holistic strategy focused on people, process and technology to achieve business needs.
“Providing exceptional customer service means working as a trusted advisor to agencies to empower them and better align to their goals to provide world-class service to citizens,” Riley said. “Evonne’s experience providing value to customers will be a tremendous benefit for Team ND.”
“We have a strong foundation for the Customer Success division bringing the voice of the customer to state government, my goal is to build upon that foundation, grow partnerships with our agencies and help provide modern technology solutions to our citizens,” Amundson said. “The citizens of North Dakota expect the same technology experience with state government interactions as they do with private companies. This expectation has been amplified in the last year and a half as the pandemic impacted how citizens interact every day with organizations and companies. We have a great opportunity to build upon the momentum of technology advancement the State of North Dakota has had over the several years and move towards world-class technology solutions for all.”
Amundson brings 14 years of experience in IT Operations leadership focusing on the voice of the customer and improving the customer experience through technology. She is currently a Business Analyst Manager with ND Information Technology Department. Amundson has led multi-disciplinary teams in the development of products and alignment of technology solutions to customer’s strategies, including modernization and automation strategies.
In her new role, Amundson will be responsible for ensuring the appropriate integration of technology into business processes to ensure agencies perform at an optimal level.
Amundson holds a Bachelor of Accountancy from the University of North Dakota. Her start date is Oct. 1.
